Quick Replace Sprocket Coupling on a Screw Drive Operator
Tools are Required:
-Socket wrench/ratchet set
-Cross head screwdriver
-Flat head screwdriver
-Adjustable wrench
-3/8″ socket or 7/16″ socket
Steps to Replace:
1. Disconnect power to your garage door opener
2. Take off the nuts and hex screws from the motor unit bracket
3. Detach the rail from the bracket and slide it backwards
4. Carefully remove the broken coupling, and slide the new one over the rail sprocket
5. Aligning the teeth on the new coupler with the grooves
6. Reattach the rail/power unit bracket with the hex bolts
7. Connect power and adjust the travel and force limits
