Generic Steel Shot S-390 – Blasting Media – Medium Size Shot (50lb)

Steel shot is the ideal material for metal resurfacing, cleaning, and stripping. S-390 shot is a larger shot grade for heavy surface removal, appropriate for use with an airless blaster. It is used for large and medium sized castings, scale removal of forging and heat-treated work pieces, surface blast cleaning of steel plates, sections and steel structures, as well as shot peening of work pieces. Choose the size which creates the desired result. S-230, S-280, and S-330 size shot produce a medium finish with good coverage. S-390 and S-550 are coarser for heavy iron and steel.
